Billie Bird is an indie folk-pop artist who isn’t afraid to explore the depths of human emotion. Since being a finalist in the Demotape Clinic in 2012, Billie Bird has performed over 250 concerts, including a landmark tour with several sold-out shows in Germany in 2025. Her song “La Nuit” (2018) has surpassed 1.5 million streams, and her critically acclaimed 2023 debut album, *Incendies*, delves into emotional extremes through rich, atmospheric soundscapes blending pop, electronic, synthpop, and traces of flamenco. The French music magazine Les Inrockuptibles described her music as “thrilling” and “bubbling,” capturing its raw intensity and experimental spirit. Beyond her solo career, she is deeply committed to promoting young talent and inclusivity. She has worked for several years on projects such as Helvetiarockt, La Gustav, and Opération Iceberg, and founded Billie Bird & Les Flamboyantesx, a queer and ally choir that combines music and activism. She also composes for the performing arts—with five productions to her credit—collaborates with artists such as Anne Paceo, and has composed the soundtrack for a French video game.
